Like 9-1-1 for emergencies, and like 4-1-1 for directory assistance in earlier days, Washtenaw County is taking its first step towards 2-1-1 -an information line for human services. Starting at 9 am on Monday, November 15th, 2004 Washtenaw County residents can call one phone number to find any of more than 200 social services agencies that provide 700 services in this community. The number is 477-6211
